Justin has practiced Chinese medicine since 1996, his background is really in western science and he thought about going into research after getting a BSc.(Hons) in Marine Biology from Swansea University in 1987. His acupuncture studies started in 1993 at the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine (CICM) in Reading. He graduated as an acupuncturist from CICM in 1996 and later as a Chinese herbalist in 2002 (after another three year course).

Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is both an ancient & contemporary system of health care that has the ability to continually develop as regards illness & disease. It has been used in China for over 3000 years. In its country of origin it is not an alternative form of therapy, but is used in state hospitals alongside Western medicine. It includes the therapies of Chinese Herbal Medicine & Acupuncture.

So, how are you? Probably the question we’re most frequently asked, but how often do we ever stop to consider how we really are? Not just physically, but mentally and emotionally too. Diet and nutrition can be easily forgotten in relation to a holistic view of ourselves — this is the whole ethos behind Trinity Holistics, and the art of Functional Food.

I believe growth and development take place at many levels; physically, emotionally and mentally. I work with you in a holistic, health, educational and sports setting, as a confidence and resilience coach, maths tutor, homeopath and Bowen technique practitioner.

In 2007 I decided to retrain as a massage therapist, having worked for an airline for 10 years. Having experienced different forms of massage on my travels and having an interest in health and wellbeing I have continued my studies, using the different training to tailor the treatment to the individual.

In Herbalism the whole plant is used to make medicine. Orthodox medicines are often made from plants too, but there the isolated plant chemical constituent is extracted and used alone, or synthesised to make a copy. Plant extracts and materials are used to treat a wide range of conditions from acute ailments to chronic illnesses in a holistic way.

Formerly The Mitchell Hill Clinic, Positive Acupuncture has been providing complementary therapies to improve health, wellbeing and quality of life, plus holistic beauty treatments that work not only on the outside but on the inside too since 2004.

I have a passion for helping people to improve their health through making manageable changes to their diet and lifestyle. Even small changes can make a big difference and the right guidance can be deeply empowering. Grace is the daughter of clinic owner Peter Adams, and retired psychotherapist Eve Adams so she is continuing the family tradition of natural healing.

Ebdons Court is situated in the heart of Sidmouth and a couple of minutes walk from the Bus Station and the Sea Front. We are just off Church Street, tucked away in a quiet courtyard behind the Willow tree cafe and opposite Gliddons Toyshop.

Being a Natural Traditional Witch or "energy worker", I embrace and utilise the natural forces of the universe ensuring a balance and equilibrium in my work. The difference between my path and a New Age Wiccan "White" Witch is that I do not believe that energy nor life can be sustained on only positive energy - nature and the universe itself does not and cannot even exist this way. Negative energy is not always bad nor harmful, it is simply necessary - there has to be balance.
