At hb Opticians we pride ourselves in our friendly and personal service, and after trading for more than 10 years we know our community well and have an established reputation. When you visit our practice you can be rest assured that all your needs will be taken care of from head to toe.

Our history dates back to Victorian Era Newcastle, where a young Frederick Robson established F. Robson & Co. on Dean Street in 1867. Since 1919, the practice has been located in a Grade II listed building, 16 Pilgrim Street, and it is still there to this day.

At S. Walton Eyecare your eye care is our priority. We are an enthusiastic independent community optician believing in providing high quality optical care and a friendly personal service across Tyne and Wear. Your eye test and eye health is very important to us. We also think that looking good and feeling good about your glasses, sunglasses or contact lenses is important too.

We regard caring for your vision as our central purpose. We will take the time and trouble to explain any of our tests and our findings, answering any questions or concerns you may have.
