The Optometry practice in Queen Street has been owned by Derek Dunstone since 1991 after taking over the longstanding 'Rawlings' practice. We are delighted that Andrew Dunstone became a Partner in December 2018. We are open each weekday, continue to grow and welcome many existing and new patients. The Practice has three consultation rooms, a supplementary tests room and two dispensing areas.

3 generations of optical care began in Scotland with Albert James and Mary Billson, both qualified Optometrists, and their sons Stewart and Cyril. After qualifying himself, Cyril moved to England, opening his first practices in Harlow and Halstead.
