Established over 30 years ago, we are a friendly independent optical practice serving the community of East Grinstead and surrounding areas, about half way between London and Brighton.

We are an independent established opticians testing eyes and dispensing spectacles since 1965. Offering a wide range of services from our premises based in Burgess Hill West Sussex. All of our staff are extremely competent and have at least ten years experience in the optical trade for the highest professional care available.

I established Nethercott Opticians in 1985. My philosophy has always been to provide the highest standards of clinical care, whilst allowing plenty of time for individual attention. In order to ensure the continuing service, from 1st April 2019 we are now a limited company with Alvin Ieong, Chris Bourton and myself as Directors. I work Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Alvin Ieong is here Thursday and Saturday morning. Melissa Patel is our Friday Optometrist.
