in New Mills

Your eye sight is one of your most precious senses. When it comes to maintaining good eye health, you need the assurance of knowing you are in the hands of fully qualified and committed professionals. At Jenks Burgess Opticians, Karen and her team are there to ensure your eye care needs are fully met.

Jacksons Opticians has been practising for over 50 years and are now part of the NHS minor eye conditions service. In March 2014 present owners Matt Woolhouse and Robert Blow bought the practice. They are brothers in law.

Stoker Opticians is an established independent practice in the heart of Buxton with a reputation for providing top quality eyecare and products. Our friendly, local staff have a wealth of knowledge in the optical industry. We will use state of the art technology to tailor our eye examinations to your individual needs.

As a valued patient, you will have received a letter recently explaining the plans for the practice. In summary, we have taken the difficult decision to close K Frank Opticians on the 30th September 2019. The reason is we are upgrading our sister practice Jenks-Burgess (JB) Opticians in Whaley Bridge. This will enable us to offer better and more diverse eye care services, and possibly even more things in the future! All existing patients will automatically be moved to the new practice and we will contact you in the normal way when your sight test is due.

Our aim is to provide the highest standard of vision care, offering a comprehensive eye examination, taking time to tailor a service to meet every individual’s needs. Our professional staff are at the forefront of optometric care in this country and we are constantly developing new skills and areas of expertise.

We are a caring, independent opticians practice in Cheadle Hulme, providing comprehensive eye examinations, contact lens assessments and spectacle dispensing. Optometrist and practice owner Jonathan Hantman, supported by receptionist Cally Little, is dedicated to providing the best possible eye care and individual service to our customers.
