We are a family run optician established in 1993 in the heart of Barnsley town centre. We pride ourselves on being one of the longest standing opticians in Barnsley with an enviable reputation for the quality of our service and our fantastic range of frames. We have a modern and up-to-date practice using the latest technology for a full sight test, glazing spectacles and fitting spectacles.

Established in 1990, Staples Opticians is a friendly practice located in Rotherham which was opened by Wendy Staples BSc MC Optom and Michael Staples FBDO. ​ We have since evolved into a successful practice offering a personal service and a large range of frames at great prices.

Martyn Kemp Opticians (MKO) was founded in 1973 by Martyn Kemp, and is now probably the largest, independent group of opticians in South Yorkshire. Over the past 40+ years the group has established nine branches in Sheffield and Rotherham, and has over 100,000 patients.

We are a local practice with the philosophy of providing a quality, one to one, service to our clients in and around the Sheffield area. Owned and run by Gerry Cowley, we stock a range of designer frames and sunglasses and have an onsite glazing lab for fast and professional glazing. Situated on White Lane, Gleadless, we are close to local amenities and have parking outside.
