Charles Morris Optometrists, established in 1958 by Charles Morris Senior, has always been a family run business. Tony Smewing, a friend of Charles Morris Junior, took over the business in 2007 and is helped by his wife Sharon, who is joint owner. Tony works alongside the highly experienced professional team of Julie and Sarah.

Since 1969, David Arthur have been the personal and caring opticians in Lichfield. As a family run practice, their focus has never wavered from their customers and putting them and their eye-care first. L40 Spectacles (formally Look For The Eye) is a Manufacturing Spectacle Outlet which is located on the Redhouse Industrial Estate in Aldridge and we have near 60 years experience in manufacturing spectacles in the UK. We feel that we are different from many factory outlets as our image is very different to how many factory outlets are perceived. When you walk into our shop, its just like walking into a high street opticians but without the expensive high street prices.

There’s been a Whitehouse and Son Optometrists in Nuneaton for nearly 100 years, with William Whitehouse setting up in 1920. After World War Two the founder’s son, John Whitehouse, joined his father and expanded the business to include another practise in Atherstone.
