Simpson Opticians is a family run Opticians based in Larkhall & East Kilbride, South Lanarkshire. Euan Simpson is the third generation of Optician at Simpson Opticians. His three daughters, Siobhan, Hannah and Lucy are all qualified Opticians too, ensuring that the family business will continue into the fourth generation. Our aim is to offer outstanding Personal Service.

When Chris was nine years old, his mother discovered that he could not see properly through his left eye. She took him to see his Uncle, who was an optician at the time. Chris felt so inspired by and in awe of the whole process that he quickly decided that he wanted to be an optician too. Thirteen years later, in 1982, he qualified as an optometrist.

The only optomap in the area produces an ultra-widefield panoramic retinal image capturing more than 80% of your retina compared to the 15% with traditional methods. We do the optomap on all patients where possible, and without any additional charge for those over 60.
