At our dedicated healthcare practice, we treat a comprehensive range of musculoskeletal conditions including back pain, neck pain, headaches, arthritic conditions and sporting injuries with a focus on detecting, diagnosing and treating the cause of symptoms.

Osteopathy is a healthcare profession that utilises a patient focused, physical approach to restoring, maintaining and promoting physical and psychosocial well being. As a form of manual therapy it uses hands on massage and gentle movements to ease many kinds of pain, restore movement, and reduce inflammation.

I qualified as an osteopath in 2013 with a degree from the College of Osteopaths. I have always been fascinated by the human body and what we are capable of. Osteopathy is a continuation of this constant study, having previously obtained a BSc from the University of Leeds in Physiology and Sports Sciences.

Located in Cleckheaton, we help many patients from Bradford and Leeds. The clinic was previously located in Parkview GP surgery in Cleckheaton health centre. This has allowed us to build excellent links with local healthcare professionals. To meet patients needs, we have expanded and are now located just off Bradford road very close to Chain Bar roundabout. We have also previously held clinics at Hilltop in Gomersal.

I graduated from Leeds Metropolitan University with a Masters degree in Osteopathy. I set up J.L Osteopthy in September 2013 in Bailiff Bridge. Alongside Osteopathy I trained in Kinesio Taping which is used for many musculoskeletal and sports injuries. The Kinesio Tape is popular among athletes all over the world and aims to prevent and rehabilitate past and present injuries.

HG1 Osteopathy was opened in 2010 and is owned and run by Jill Green BSc (Hons) Ost, MSc. Jill graduated from Oxford Brookes University and has established her own practice in Harrogate. Jill is also an associate at one other osteopathic clinic in Yorkshire.

Osteopathy can help with your aches and pains caused by joints, muscles, ligaments, tendons or discs. The most common are back and neck pain, sciatica and trapped nerve, prolapsed disc, shoulder problems, hip and knee pain, tension headaches and many more (see our poster for more conditions we treat). In order to make you feel better - as speedily as possible - we offer ‘hands-on’ treatment, we can supplement it with kinesio-taping if you wish, and we will give you guidance and advice on coping strategies and how to prevent re-ocurrences.
