As of February 2019, I am teaming up with my colleague Clare, who some of you may already know from Botanica, and we are opening our own clinic down the road in Hildenborough. We will be called 'The Kent Running Coach' and will be based in The 1809 Hub, founded by Dame Kelly Holmes.

Prior to studying osteopathy Robert graduated from the University of Nottingham in 1991 with a joint honours degree in Psychology and Philosophy. His interest in Clinical Psychology and a desire to help people to improve their health and well-being lead him into the field of osteopathy.

Osteopathy is a holistic approach to health that aims at improving movement and blood supply. An osteopath can work on all structures within your body including joints, muscles, ligaments, membranes, organs and nerves. It's a non-invasive treatment that gently manipulates the body to improve your overall well-being.

In keeping with the rise in the age of retirement and the expectations we all have to ‘keep going’ — be it at a favourite sport, hobby or physical work — we aim to help you to do just that … osteopaths utilise a range of techniques including physical manipulation, stretching and massage, and other gentle techniques such as cranial that are all taught at undergraduate level. We also provide a package of care that can include one or more of the following: manual therapy, health information, self-management advice and support and/or exercise therapy, as determined by the individual needs of the patient.

Established in 2009 the Positive Health Centre in Borough Green, Kent has provided a friendly and welcoming environment in which individuals can have a positive effect on their mind and body. We offer a range of complementary treatments and therapies to suit a variety of long and short term needs.

In the 19th Century Andrew Taylor Still developed osteopathy in the United States, it was then brought over to the UK in the early 20th Century and has become established as primary health care system, complementary to other medical practices and one that GPs can refer patients to.

Cranial Osteopathy is a technique used by osteopaths. It is a very gentle and effective hands-on therapy which aims to restore health and balance in the body.

All kinds of people with all kinds of problems come to see us: from expectant mothers to babies, children to the elderly, office workers, builders, horsey folk, sports people, gardeners, musicians, drivers, dancers, farmers, busy mums & dads …the list is endless.
