I am a sociologist of children and childhoods working within the CASCADE Children's Social Care Research and Development Centre at Cardiff University. I have been a researcher at Cardiff since 2013, focusing on childhood identities, gender, sexuality, and contemporary social theory. My PhD in Sociology was completed in 2015 and explored early childhood and gender through a feminist posthumanist lens.

My name is Maria Reece I am an experienced (20+ years) and fully qualified, BACP accredited and UKRC registered counsellor. I offer individual counselling and couple counselling in Leamington Spa, working both long and short term. I also provide counselling to professionals and organisations. Counselling is usually carried out face to face in Leamington Spa but I also provide counselling over the telephone and by Skype.
