I have twenty years experience of working within the voluntary and statutory sector providing integrated family support, counselling and training to those involved in the criminal justice system, leaving care system, Social Care and schools. I work with clients who have experienced domestic violence, sexual abuse, parental separation, bullying, addictive behaviour, bereavement, self-harm, redundancy, Aspergers and terminal illness.

People and performance move in parallel. In the modern economy most work is about mental effort. The performance of your people is dependent upon their commitment, attitude, engagement and the mental effort that drives their behaviour and your performance.

Gill is a Chartered Counselling Psychologist and an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society in the Division of Counselling Psychology. Gill says æ³¥uring my Chartered Counselling Psychology training and my past employment, I have gained considerable knowledge and ability using the practical application of psychological theory to my work.

JIT Counselling is essentially Jane Taylor who offers qualifications as a Counsellor, Psychotherapist, CBT (Cognitive Behaviour Therapy) and Registered Trauma Specialist, and has a background in community health and social care.

I was born and grew up in The Netherlands, where I met and and married an Englishman. Britain became my adopted and loved homeland. Once our children were at school, I worked for many years as a primary teacher. Having been introduced to counselling after the sudden death of my husband, I decided a career change would make a welcome change. I retrained for several years and qualified in 1996 as a psychotherapist.
