The practice was originally set up in Cambridge by John Grieve in 1971 and provided care for both pets and farm animals. Over the years the practice has undergone several transformations to become what is now known as Cambridge Veterinary Group. In August 2012 John sold the practice to Lucy Crosby, who has been working as a veterinary surgeon at Cambridge Veterinary Group since 2007.
