Paul Dowie established the practice over 25 years ago, specialising in small animal veterinary care. We have a dedicated team of two vets and five nurses with a variety of skills. We have modern facilities in a friendly environment, a fully equipped operating theatre and use the latest anaesthesia techniques and monitoring devices to ensure the best for your pet during their stay with us.

We are a small animal practice in Nottinghamshire, first established in the 1960s. Your pets are our priority and our skilled team of veterinarians and vet nurses are dedicated to providing the highest quality care for your animals. We are open six days a week and have access to 24-hour emergency care.

Oak House Veterinary Centre was formed in July 2004 by the husband & wife team Andrew Draper & Kate Cullen, when they bought the practice formerly known as Martin Grace Veterinary Surgeons.

We understand that pets are sometimes shy and may be wary of strangers. Our experienced team ensure that your pets feel at ease and comfortable in their unfamiliar surroundings.

As owners, breeders & even judging Rottweilers & Pembroke Corgis for over 30 years, they originally began hydrotherapy not as a business, but with their original pool only for their own dogs following injury & also to build general fitness.
