Hoole and Walmsley Architects was established in 2006. The principal Directors are Karen Hoole and Jacqui Walmsley. The practice has a desire to develop architecture that not only arises from an in- depth dialogue with clients but is challenging, practical and site specific whether it be a rural or urban landscape.

We create new places that are responsive to the parent landscape. We construct landscape narrative as a means to understand the context of development and to establish coherent underlying design principles. We dig deep.

We now work on hundreds of jobs each year, ranging from small domestic extensions to conversions of buildings, new factories, farm buildings, social clubs and historic building recording and renovation.
