Since qualifying as an architect some twenty years ago I have enjoyed a diverse career working with some of the most well regarded design studios in the UK. I spent eleven years with Dixon Jones and became an associate there.

AFGUK Architects was founded in 2010. The managing director of the practice is a registered architect and member of the Royal Institute of British Architects, with over 20 years of experience in providing professional architectural services. He has worked for a number of well known architectural practices in South West England and South Wales and went on to set up his own architectural practice in 2010.

We have worked across various sectors including residential, education, commercial and healthcare. We aim to forge strong relationships with clients, ensuring they achieve best value for their projects. Our approach has seen us complete successful schemes of all sizes from large scale multi-million new builds to small scale additions and refurbishments, including working for developers and private individuals.

John Malaiperuman BSc (hons), Dip. Arch, RIBA ( CA), AABC trained at the Bartlett School of Architecture, University College London. Over the past 40 years his career has covered the design of a great variety of building types, including universities, schools, offices, theatres, and housing.

I qualified as a chartered architect over twenty years ago at the University of Bath and I have been fully employed by established Bristol and Bath architect practices where I have gained a breadth of experience of the design of a range of building types procured under different contract routes. At the same time, throughout my professional life I have been approached by friends and domestic clients who have asked me to carry out architectural services.
