The ‘Newhouse of Auchengree’ designed by Ann Nisbet Studio is a contemporary farmhouse drawing inspiration from local rural farm building situated throughout North Ayrshire countryside. The building was short listed for the Grand Designs RIBA: House of the Year. The three zinc clad structures are designed around a central courtyard. The largest contains the main living quarters and bedrooms, with the master suite located separately in a single story annex for the owners to enjoy the tranquil surroundings. The single storey outhouse is the final structured link.
