We are a friendly, independent, professional practice of Chartered Building Surveyors and Engineers based in Wokingham since 1972, with specialist knowledge of the Thames Valley area.

AK North are Chartered Building Surveyors. We have over 30 years experience in surveying and architecture, covering an exceptionally wide range of property types. Our business mainly stems from London and the South East, although we also take instructions from across the UK.

Prior to setting up his own company, James worked in private practice, predominantly at Associate Directorship level gaining a wide level of experience in professional and contract administration related work. James currently specialises in party wall matters and is a member of the Pyramus & Thisbe Club and a Fellow (Chairman of the Surrey Branch) of the Faculty of Party Wall Surveyors, which are both recognised organisations promoting party wall excellence.
