Thakeham Furniture is a small, family business, established by Tim and Belinda Chavasse in 1987. Tim and Belinda met at college, whilst studying to become antique furniture restorers - Tim coming from Agricultural College, and brought up with antiques, and Belinda with a degree in Art History. Our colleague Anthony Tester, a highly skilled restorer, has been with us from the start.

All our furniture is made to order and each piece is unique because it is individually made not manufactured; existing designs can be customised to our customer's personal requirements; we also work with many Garden Designers who request special furniture for certain projects to meet their client's design. All our furniture is handmade to the highest quality and can be to your own design or specification.
