The Design Gallery was established in October 2002 by John Masters and Chrissie Masters in a beautiful, exclusive gallery in Westerham, Kent, on the Kent/Surrey border. We specialise in progressive design movements from 1850-1950: Gothic Revival, Arts and Crafts Movement, Aesthetic Movement, Art Nouveau and Art Deco. We also sell a wide range of designer 20th Century vintage jewellery and contemporary silver jewellery by Malcolm Appleby MBE, Britain’s leading Silversmith-Engraver.

DELIVERY INFORMATION: We load our vehicle every Thursday in Poland, so every Saturday we already have your orders in our warehouse in London. That gives a chance to buyers to collect from us immediately, otherwise we can deliver within few days the following week.

After struggling to find the right balance of beautifully designed, durable and affordable children’s furniture for our two daughters, we decided to take matters into our own hands ... and so our third baby, The Children’s Furniture Company, was born!

In 2004 Russell Pinch and Oona Bannon established PINCH, with the aim to create furniture and lighting that we would want to live with. We set our sights on what we would want to surround ourselves with, indulged ourselves in the detail, and didn’t compromise on the materials. Our products are characterised by a quiet and elegant aesthetic, the result of tireless refinement and an intense dedication to craft and process.

Koala Furnishings opened the doors to their first showroom in Bexleyheath, Kent in 1985. Owners Phil and Mike, with their knowledge and passion for beds and mattresses made this store one of the first in Kent to specialise in top quality pocket sprung mattresses, divan sets and bed frames.

Neil Norton grew up in Northern Ireland surrounded by beautiful landscape, inspiring architecture and skilled craftsmen. Once a full-time artist selling work on a market stall with a background in painting and restoration, it was only when he moved to England that Neil realised the quality and the design style he took for granted back home was something rare and less accessible in London.
