Founded in October 2005, Little Hawthorn has two nurseries conveniently placed in Loanhead and Bonnyrigg, offering high quality childcare and education. Our nursery is independently owned by Natalie, who’s vision is to create a home from home environment incorporating learning through play.

Founded in January 1997 Pinocchio's Childrens Nurseries now have 5 private childcare facilities based across Edinburgh, Midlothian. We currently have purpose built day nurseries in Eskbank, Lasswade, Penicuik, Heriot Watt and Gilmerton.

There are now nine Chapter One nurseries and we have been providing a warm, nurturing and challenging environment for children and babies in Scotland and North Yorkshire since 2004 and more recently have now expanded into Oman.

We encourage all our children to interact with one another as well as with parents and the support staff to build confident and motivated individuals. The children are encouraged to play together moving freely from one activity to another, thereby developing their social and motor skills.

Since opening in 2002, ABC Nursery and Out Of School Care has developed and matured into an excellent setting for children to flourish and blossom into confident, creative and successful individuals. With the support of a dedicated dynamic team, ABC has a proven track record, demonstrating that many of 'our' children who graduate to primary school go on to become high achievers within their peer group.
