My name is Lorraine Smitham and this website is designed to tell you a little bit about me and my childminding service. I live in Glossop with my Husband Mark & our son Andrew who is 7, Mark's an IT geek & Andrew is my part time assistant who specialises in testing out the toys, activities and resources.

We understand that children are born ready, able and eager to learn. They progress quickly during the early years and need the right environment that provides provision that enables them to develop their personalities, talent and abilities. We understand that development is not an automatic process. It depends on each unique child having opportunities to interact in positive relationships and enabling environments.

At Sutton St James our vision is to continually support each individual child to actively participate in their own learning, and to foster an atmosphere where they will want to explore and find out more in all areas of their learning, both inside and outside. We actively encourage positive relationships where children have high levels of self-esteem, developing care and respect for themselves and others in a stimulating environment where each child feels secure, valued and happy.

Being a parent myself I understand that you naturally want the very best childcare for your child which is why I pride myself on offering high quality childcare in an enabling environment which is like a home from home, in a nurturing, safe setting and has an all important family feel. My main focus is that the children learn and develop through fun and play with activities planned to meet the individual needs of each and every child in my care closely following the EYFS learning goals.

Our first Day Nursery opened in 1989 at 11 Crescent Park, Heaton Norris. Our second Nursery at Orrishmere Primary School, Worcester Road, Cheadle Hulme opened in 1999, and our third Nursery at Thorngrove Primary School, Woodstock Avenue, Cheadle Hulme, opened in February 2005.

My name is Louise Delaney the head Childminder of Cheadle Child Care. I am a fully registered child minder. I have a paediatric first aid qualification. I am Ofsted and NCMA registered, I am a member of PACEY and I am a network childminder.

Based in the centre of Wilmslow, we care for new babies and children up to the age of 5 and have limited spaces available. We pride ourselves on being able to make a positive influence on your child’s future educational, physical and social development.

My name is Clare Williams and I am an Ofsted registered childminder in Carrbrook, Stalybridge. In addition to being registered with Ofsted I am also a member of PACEY (Professional Association for Childcare and Early Years).

Children 4 Most are a group of friendly, family run nurseries and have been established since March 2000. Since opening our first nursery we have consistently maintained a high standard of quality early years care and education for all our children. We have always received excellent Ofsted reports and are always striving to improve our services yet further. We are proud of our inspection reports and other extra awards that we have achieved.
