Welcome to the Leydon-Smith School of Theatre Dance website. I hope you find our website helpful and informative - hopefully it will inspire you to find out more about the classes we offer. Our friendly dancing school was established in 1980 by myself - Katherine Leydon-Smith, FIDTA (Principal).

Over the years, we've been proud to be Doncaster's premier school of dance and have taught hundreds of dedicated pupils who have attended our dance classes. Our teachers and pupils alike put in maximum effort, balancing hard work and dedication with a fun and caring learning environment. It is this balance that ensures we continue with our 100% success rate in all our I.D.T.A and R.A.D examinations.

We also give pupils the opportunity to take part in our legendary annual show based within our Dance School in Castleford. This is a real highlight for all concerned and it marks the culmination of a year’s dancing for the children.
