Ecco was founded in 1992 by Amanda Horne. It began in a church hall in Ecclesfield with dance classes in ballet, tap and freestyle. Ecco moved to the Burton Street Project in 1995 and quickly expanded running dance classes every day. In the 16 years at Burton Street Ecco trained many Freestyle & Rock n Roll champions, had children perform in productions at the Lyceum and Crucible. Many pupils have gone on to have a career in the dance industry.

Our classes cater for 2½ year olds to adults. We offer classes in Ballet, Tap, Modern Jazz, Theatre craft, Adult tap. We also have showclasses which work towards our yearly show. Our Tots classes run twice a week and are a great way for your little ones to have fun whilst getting some exercise.
