Established in 1996 by myself Mrs Kim Massey, a qualified Fellow Teacher and registered school of the International Dance Teachers Association (I.D.T.A.) I offer classes in Ballet, Tap, Modern Jazz, Theatrecraft, Street Dance & Disco Bop (from 2.5 years) along with Adult Tap & Adult Ballet.

Shows play an important part at our school. We have produced many shows, giving away thousands of pounds to several charities, including over recent years Demelza House and our local Breast Cancer appeal. It is an important part of the pupils education in dance. Its exciting learning the ways of the theatre and the art of performing whilst wearing nice costumes. We often take part in cabarets i.e. for Masonic nights, Lark in The Park, Kings Theatre Club Ramsgate to name a few, and our school show takes place at the lovely Theatre Royal in Margate. Even the adults take part (Optional).

Offers dance, fitness and music classes for all ages. As well as Birthday and celebration packages. With 6 purpose built studios and a large main venue there's no need to look any further.

Dance Lessons in Canterbury include — Nursery Ballet/Dance, Modern and Tap, Grades in ISTD Ballet, Modern, Tap and Senior Street, Private Lessons in Ballroom and Latin. Adult Class — BalleTonercise (Unique Ballet/Toning/Fitness for Health and Happiness).

The school was started by Margaret Giles over seventy years ago. The early classes were held in Aldington near Ashford and when she moved to Chilham, Miss Giles added classes in Canterbury, Ashford, Faversham and Wye.

We've been planning ahead and have organised several new classes to ease you into Autumn and we'd love you to join us! We have a brand new Autumn programme which starts from 22nd September 2019 with six new classes available!

Jo’s passion with dance and performing arts has been a huge part of her life since a very early age. At 16 Jo was awarded a 3 year scholarship to attend the Italia Conti School of Performing Arts in London, during her time in London she gained her ISTD teaching qualifications and Performing Arts Diploma. Her professional dance career then took off taking her dancing all around the world. Jo is now qualified Fellowship with the IDTA and is, looking forward to the future becoming an examiner.

Hilton Hall Dance Academy was established in 1994. The main studios are situated on the first floor of Raglan House in St. Peters Street Maidstone. Facilities at our main branch include two fully equipped dance and drama studios with sprung floors, mirrors and fixed wall barres as well as a changing room, waiting area and reception.

Based in Herne Bay and founded in 1942 by Muriel Hasland, the Hasland Dance Studios (HDS) is one of Kent's longest running and best known dance schools.
