Twizzles Dance and Fitness has been bringing the joys of dancing to adults and children for over 25 years. Conveniently situated in the centre of Horwich, with easy local parking, we have two studios catering for large open classes and private lessons, and a comfortable cafe selling hot and cold drinks and snacks.

We can offer expert tuition in Ballroom, Latin, Salsa, Charleston, Lindy Hop, Argentine Tango, American Smooth, sequence, Rock & Roll, Freestyle, Street, Cheerleading, Jazz, Musical Theatre, Contemporary, Lyrical, Ballet and Tap.

The Janet Lomas School of Dancing, established in 1978, is a traditional classical ballet school offering structured training for boys and girls, aged four to 18 – from beginners through to pre-professional level. In 2017, the school expanded and began offering Silver Swans® adult ballet classes for the over 55s. ​

Eagles Dance classes are fun and great exercise. We encourage the social side of dancing and can be found after the classes sitting and chatting with our students.

Gillies Mar-Jan Stage School We offer ballet, tap, modern/jazz, street dance, boogie babies, acro and zumba classes. We also offer dance and drama workshops in the summer holidays.

Children are welcome to start at any age and any time throughout the year. Children can learn to dance from as young as two years old. At this level Children are learning to dance from as young as two years old. At this level Children are learning to dance with the emphasis on fun”. At the age of five, children are then invited to participate in the schools annual Examination sessions, which we hold excellent 100% results.

The best thing about being at Jay-Em Studios is the unity we all feel within the group and everybody sharing the love of dance. We all work together towards the same goal. Opened in May 1979 in Clayton Brook Community Centre, later expanding to St Aidan's Scout Hut in Bamber Bridge and Adlington Community Centre.

At Dance for Fun Studios you will find dance classes in Rochdale Bury and Manchester where you will discover easy to follow dance classes with friendly helpful qualified teachers. As one of the largest Dance Schools for Adults in the area, you can Learn Ballroom and Latin Dancing, Argentine Tango and Sequence Dance. Enjoy learning to Dance with Alan and Ginny in our warm and friendly dance classes in Bury and Rochdale. Dancing has to be fun and enjoyable and that’s what we provide.

MDC offers a range of dance classes and courses in the city centre for adults, teenagers, kids and childrens classes. Classes range from a beginners level , intermediate and professional level.

The Dancing School, was founded in 1964 by Stephanie Bridge MBBO; ODTS, MIDTA, Freestyle Teaching Diploma. Stephanie gained membership of the British Ballet Organisation in 1949 at the age of 13. She was a student teacher for Beatrice Shipstone from 1949-1953 teaching ballet, tap and acrobatic daily under supervision and was in sole charge of two 1/2 hour classes a week.
