Footsteps School of Dancing was formed in January 1997. The principals of the school Nigel & Deborah Price have been teaching for over 30 years between them and qualified with the National Association of Teachers of Dancing (NATD)

We are a successful Ballroom & Latin American dancing school based in Kennett and have been established since 1994. We offer friendly and fun classes at all levels for the social, medalists and competitive dancers. Whether you are looking to dance for a special occasion, for the first dance at your wedding, or just for fun, then you have come to the right place.

They both started dancing in 1993, but from different backgrounds in dance, Debbie took the Ballroom & Latin route with her gold medals in both & 3 years on the Salsa dance scene, meeting Paul along the way at Modern Jive. Paul started in Modern Jive, then started learning Lindy Hop in 1995 & found himself travelling for lessons all over the place. Paul was keen for a dance partner so introduced Debbie to Lindy Hop in 1998. They got married in July 2000 having a Swing wedding & the rest is history!

Dancing is one of life's most enjoyable experiences, provides exercise and great personal satisfaction! Learn ‘1-2-1’ or ‘couple-1’ in Private Lessons, in Hitchin, Letchworth, and Stopsley Luton. We also offer Private lessons for small groups of up to 6 people on Sunday and Monday evenings in Hitchin.

DancePro Academy offers term time classes in many genres for children and teens, including baby ballet for students as young as 2.5 years, exams in ISTD Modern Theatre, Ballet and Tap. Musical Theatre and Street dance classes. Students also have the opportunity to perform in a show at the Hertford Theatre every other year. We also have adult jazz classes which are becoming more and more popular.

JS Dance Academy is a dance school on the Herts/Beds border. Established in 2006 (as JS Tap Academy), we aim to promote dancing and encourage people of all ages and abilities to reach their full potential using both syllabus and non-syllabus work.

Carter School of Dance holds all its classes and examinations in Hertford. In 2009 Caroline Crowley took over the ownership of the school and continues to manage it today. The school was founded by Jan Carter in 1980. In 2008 Mrs. Carter was awarded the M.B.E. for Services to Dance and to the community of Hertford, retiring from teaching in 2014.
