The Shoshana Burns School of Dance strives to provide an excellent standard of performing arts training in a fun and friendly environment. ​ Classes are held for ages 2+ in classical ballet, modern, tap, singing, drama, musical theatre and many more.

Welcome and thank you for taking the time to visit one of Hertfordshire's longest running and most popular Ballroom Dancing & Latin American Dance Clubs. Enjoy Ballroom Dancing in a friendly club atmosphere, meet new people and make new friends. You can even bring your own refreshments and at £5 for an evening's instruction and dancing, why not give us a try? New members are always warmly received.

Now with over 500 students attending over 60 classes a week, we encourage a family atmosphere and I am proud to say that The Valle Academy is a fantastic place in which to work and learn.

Dance Design Theatre Arts provides the highest standard of training in ISTD and Russian Ballet, ISTD Modern and Tap, Jazz, Contemporary, Commercial and Musical Theatre. From absolute beginners, to those who strive for the highest quality of training available to persue a future within the performaning arts industry; at DDTA we offer a vast range of classes to fulfil the needs of Dancers aged 3 years to Adult.

Carter School of Dance holds all its classes and examinations in Hertford. In 2009 Caroline Crowley took over the ownership of the school and continues to manage it today. The school was founded by Jan Carter in 1980. In 2008 Mrs. Carter was awarded the M.B.E. for Services to Dance and to the community of Hertford, retiring from teaching in 2014. The Stephanie Ledger School of Dancing was established in 1972 by Stephanie Ledger.Now known as BREWER DANCE ACADEMY, the school offers ballet classes and lyrical jazz dance for children aged 3 and upwards. The emphasis of the classes is on developing dance technique in a fun and friendly atmosphere.

We offer dance classes in ballet, modern, tap, jazz, drama and singing, starting from pre-school beginners all the way through to advanced major grades. All ISTD dance classes work towards regular and recognised examinations.

Pole fitness is suitable for women of all ages, shapes and sizes as not only is it a great way to keep fit, build strength and increase muscle tone, but it also improves confidence levels and of course is great FUN! Regardless of age, flexibility or level of experience, with the appropriate guidance pole fitness can be learned by just about anyone!

DancePro Academy offers term time classes in many genres for children and teens, including baby ballet for students as young as 2.5 years, exams in ISTD Modern Theatre, Ballet and Tap. Musical Theatre and Street dance classes. Students also have the opportunity to perform in a show at the Hertford Theatre every other year. We also have adult jazz classes which are becoming more and more popular.
