Art of Dance is a well established dance school in South Tyneside. Art of Dance offers classes in Ballet, Stage, Tap, Jazz/Modern, Freestyle, Street, Hip-Hop, Lyrical, Contemporary, Drama, Singing and Gymnastics.

Jade Harrison School of Dance opened in March 2006 and is situated in the heart of New York Village in North Shields. We teach a range of dance styles from Ballet to Commercial Street in our purpose built dance school in North Tyneside.

For over 60 years the Gillian Quinn School of Dance has provided first class training for dancers of all ages and abilities. Students can be trained from three years old to professional standard, with well over 1,000 students who have gone on to perform and teach all around the world.

Romero School of Dance was established in 2009 and offers dance classes in Classical sequence, Ballroom, Latin and Salsa to both Children and Adults. Romero School of Dance is ran by Lindsay Romero who has over thirty years of dance experience. Lindsay began her dancing career at the age of three and participated in Ballet, Tap, Stage and Disco but when she discovered Ballroom and Latin at the age of five it was this style of dance that she excelled in.

Dance JAM are a dance company based in Sunderland who provide Street Dance classes to children of all ages from our dance studio in Sunniside.

Dance City is a vibrant and friendly place where people come together to take part, enjoy, experience and talk about dance; where professional and aspiring dancers meet, learn and train; somewhere to watch world class dance performances and somewhere for all to come along and get involved in dance. People come to Dance City to socialise, learn new skills, keep fit and active, train professionally and find out more about dance.
