I have been teaching professionally for more than 20 years and as you can see from my biography I have gained, as a session drummer, a great deal of experience in many aspects of the music business and use this knowledge as part of the way I teach.

I am a qualified full time private guitar teacher based in Leigh-on-Sea and Canvey Island, Essex, serving all the surrounding areas:- Southend, Hadleigh, Eastwood, Westcliff and Benfleet. ​ Whether you're a beginner, hobbyist or an aspiring musician wanting to carve out a career in the music industry, I can tailor a course to suit you and achieve your goals whatever they may be.

Located at the heart of the Thames Delta, The Backwater Channels offers a range of audio recording, music production and photographic devices, as well as providing professional rehearsal facilities. We also provide tuition & training in audio engineering and music production.

Established for over 10 years, many of our teachers have over 20 years experience in their particular field of music tuition.
