Hugo Townsend welcomes you to The White Hart Inn, one of the oldest Inns of Essex. The inn is a medieval hall building and is believed to have been built in the thirteenth century. In the eighteenth century The Great Yarmouth Stage stopped here. We still offer the traditional fare of the coaching inn: comfortable bedrooms, delicious home cooked food and superb real ales.
