At Talk-in-Herts we work with individuals, families and organisations. We are based in Welwyn Garden City. I originally qualified as an integrative counsellor working mainly in a person-centred way. Since then I have gained more specialist training and experience in working with bereavement and loss, including sudden and traumatic death. In addition to face-to-face work, I qualified as an online counsellor and supervisor with ‘Online Training for Counsellors’ (OLT). I am particularly interested in online text based counselling, which is valuable for the hard of hearing and those who enjoy writing and find it to be therapeutic. I am a great believer in the benefits of therapeutic writing and it works very well with online counselling.
Our team of qualified counsellors has a wide range of experience. We offer both short and long-term counselling which draws on a variety of therapeutic approaches. As registered members of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy our counsellors work within and are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework.
