We have been helping our clients and their families for nearly 250 years, from making the first Will for the children to advising on Lasting Powers of Attorney and Later Life Care Funding. As well as our highly-accredited solicitors, what helps mark us apart is our in-house personal tax advice service.

Our Journey began in September 1997 and we became incorporated in November 2000 and during this time we have helped thousands of businesses survive and prosper. We have been placed in many comparisons with other Debt Collection Agencies and have been successful in all cases on both performance and price.

We are an independent and highly respected law firm based in Somerset and providing legal services throughout the South West and beyond. We were formed almost 20 years ago as a result of a merger between Bartlett and Co (established in Shepton Mallet in 1958), Austin and Bath (established in Glastonbury in the 19th century and owned at the time by Nick Gooding) and Robin Weelen and Co (established in Castle Cary in 1978). Nick Gooding retired in 2004 but Bill Bartlett and Robin Weelen are still partners in the firm.
