Tae Kwon Do is the Korean art of self-defence and means The Art of Hand and Foot Fighting”. Tae Kwon Do indicates the technique of unarmed combat for self-defence, involving skilled application of punches, kicks, blocks, dodges and restraints.

Thaitans Martial Arts Academy is dedicated to teaching the highest of standards for all the disciplines available. We have classes in Thai Boxing, Wrestling, Ju-Jitsu and Krav Maga. We teach people from all walks of life and across all age ranges and experience.

Our martial arts programs are specifically designed by age groups and experience level. This allows students to progress at their own pace, learn alongside friends who are of similar age and skill level - all the whilst having fun and building confidence in their skills. Every aspect of our program is designed for students to learn and improve at their own pace. That way, they develop the confidence to try, fail, and learn. No one sits on the bench at Evesham Martial Arts.

Taekwon Do is suitable for men, women and children of all levels of fitness. If you visit our club you will see people of both sexes from different generations training together. It is wonderful to see the amount of parents and their children that take up martial arts at our club learning, bonding and growing together.
