Karate comes from a long line of Martial Arts stretching back into history, yet its training methods and philosophy are of immense relevance to modern western society. Karate-Do is a martial way — the Way of the Empty Hand. This symbolises its non-violent nature and also the ideal of confronting one’s own real self. All martial arts have these principles at their heart to a greater or lesser extent.

Our children's program will teach your child core values such as discipline and respect. By starting at an early age, they will develop positive habits to last a lifetime. We believe in bringing out the best in your child and have designed our classes to be entertaining and informative.

Over this period many British and International Kumite and Kata competitors and champions have been forged at the Brighton Club which was for many years the official Dojo of Sensei Hazard. However, the emphasis at Brighton is not on ‘sport’ Karate but the traditional study of the ‘three Ks’ — Kihon, Kata and Kumite.

Shinobi-Kai Martial Arts is dedicated to providing high quality, authentic training in the art of Ninpo Taijutsu. We have experienced, qualified instructors and we take pride in the quality of our tuition. Our aim is to allow everyone to enjoy an art that is safe, fun and rewarding.

Now in our 3rd decade of training in the Martial Arts of Japan, The Mid Sussex Martial Arts School (MSMAS), is probably now one of the oldest and most traditional mixed Martial Arts Centres in the UK today, know internationally as Tenshin Kan UK Dojo.

Steel Fist is a combination of old traditional martial arts and new modern practical self-defense fighting systems offering some of the best martial arts training in Sussex. Our martial arts and fitness classes are suitable for 14 years and upwards in a fun and friendly environment.

Our system is a simple but effective one. Its roots come from traditional Wado Ryu & Shotokan Karate. Where TSM is unique is in the application of other styles and techniques which enhances what is already a good system and makes it more versatile.
