Alan’s skills, knowledge and experience has been gained through studying Muay Thai boxing at the Sitnarong Camp led by Grand Master Sken from 1991. He trained at Bradford Thai boxing (Sitnarong) under the tuition of now Master Dave Croft. He also studied and gained a first degree black belt through the Shukokai Karate Union between 2000 — 2008. Alan Burnley continues to train and develop his Thai boxing skills so that he can train and instruct students of the club to his utmost capability.

Ju-Jitsu is a martial arts that concentrates on technique rather than brute force. Although Ju-Jitsu was developed in medieval Japan, the martial art has gained great popularity amongst the police and armed forces as a practical form of self defence to meet the needs of today's society.

LTMA provides martial arts training in Leeds, West Yorkshire. We believe that martial arts should be fluid and flexible, allowing individuals of all levels of skill, fitness and ability to take part. We welcome all new students - whether you have lots of experience or none at all.

MAFL is the premier, professional karate club serving the Yorkshire region with classes in and around Harrogate, Leeds, Wetherby, York, Tadcaster & Knaresborough. Under the guidance of Chief Instructor Master Janet McKenna (5th Dan) our friendly and welcoming classes have maintained their popularity and reputation over the last 15 years. Our classes are accessible to everyone over the age of 5 regardless of their level fitness, ability or agility, we are proud to support members with disabilities.

We teach World Taekwondo (WT) martial arts, self defence and fitness in our clubs in Silsden, Keighley, Cottingley, Shipley, Thackley, Baildon, Odsal, Rochdale, Oldham, Wigan, Lymm and Belfast.

5th Dan Sensei Paul Lynch founded the College in 2002 after retiring from International Competition (13 British Championships plus 1998 World Champion and 2000 European Champion). Sensei has been teaching martial arts for over 25 years at top level.
