I have been working in the Health and Beauty industry for many years. In 1988 I initially trained as a masseuse and worked for the following 8 years at Champneys Health Resort. I have also worked as a Beauty Therapist in a salon, The Studio in Berkhamsted, after completing my beauty qualifications plus Holistic subjects such as Aromatherapy, Reflexology and Indian head Massage.

Massage is a systematic manual application of pressure and movement to the soft tissue of the body, the skin, muscles, tendons, ligaments and fascia (the membrane surrounding muscles and muscle groups). It encourages healing by promoting the flow of blood and lymph, relieving tension, stimulating nerves, and stretching and loosening muscles and connective tissue to keep them elastic.

We have a lot of experience of working with children of all ages and can help with fractiousness, restlessness and irritability in the new born which may be due to musculoskeletal problems. Our special interests include post and anti-natal problems and childhood issues, particularly in the disciplines of Osteopathy and Homeopathy.
