Charles Morris Optometrists, established in 1958 by Charles Morris Senior, has always been a family run business. Tony Smewing, a friend of Charles Morris Junior, took over the business in 2007 and is helped by his wife Sharon, who is joint owner. Tony works alongside the highly experienced professional team of Julie and Sarah.

Eyecare Mobile Opticians Ltd provides a NHS funded service for all those who find it difficult to attend a high street Opticians. If you, or someone you know has difficulty getting to an Opticians unaided, or is housebound, then you may be entitled to a free eye test at home. See below to see if you qualify for a free eye test. One of our home visiting Opticians will come to your home and perform an eye test after which they can recommend spectacles if needed.

Keith Murphy Opticians was founded in 2000 by Keith and Helen Murphy following the acquisition of Beaumont and McConnell Opticians. Over the subsequent years the family has established the practice as one of the most respected opticians in the country. This has been achieved by offering excellent personal service, expert ophthalmic and dispensing knowledge and continuous investment in the latest technology to provide the highest standard of care.

Mr Thomas joined an old established practice in Redditch in 1978, called Hopkins & Lees which had been around since the 1940’s. He became a partner a year later, hence the name change to Lees & Thomas, and within a couple more years Mr Lees had retired and Mr Thomas became the sole owner up until mid-2016 when he sold the Practice to two experienced Optometrists, Mr Sanghir and Mr Baz.
