The Optometrist is Sian C. Brookes-Fazakerley, B.Sc. Hons MCOptom who is the third generation member of the family practice. In 2000 she graduated with a degree in Optometry from the University of Aston, Birmingham and subsequently became a member of the College of Optometrists.

Alton Murphy was established by Mr Alton Murphy Bsc.FC Optom in 1970 opening his first optical practices in Amlwch and Beaumaris, building his reputation on offering the highest standard of professional eye care and quality eyewear.
