My name is Helen Davies and I am UKCP registered psychotherapist in private practice in Chichester, West Sussex and Chobham, Surrey. I have been practicing therapy for over 10 years.

Every one of us will experience some kind of distress at one point or another in our lives. Sometimes we can manage this alone, or with the support of friends and family, but at other times things can feel too confusing, or overwhelming. Psychological therapy can offer a supportive and specialist way to explore these kinds of difficulties, alleviating confusion and distress, and improving mood and life satisfaction.

I am an experienced BACP (British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists) registered counsellor offering effective therapy in a private and confidential setting in Camberley, Surrey. At times in life we all find ourselves facing situations or challenges which we can find distressing and sometimes difficult to cope with. Having a safe, confidential space to feel heard and explore what is going on can be extremely beneficial.

Sophie’s interest in Sport & Exercise psychology began at an early age. This led to her graduating with First Class Honours majoring in Psychology at the University of East London; in the heart of the Olympic borough. Following this, Sophie went on to complete her Masters in Sport and Exercise Psychology at the University of Chichester.

We are all qualified psychotherapists/counsellors with a wide range of professional backgrounds: social work, probation, family court welfare, psychiatry, child, adolescent and family consultation, adult mental health, services for eating disorders and other addictions.

I have a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and am trained to work using CBT, systemic and psychodynamic approaches. In addition I have training in group psychoanalytic psychotherapy, attachment-focussed therapies and approaches used in treating trauma.

I am a registered UKCP psychotherapist with my own practice based in Dorking, Surrey. I also undertake both psychotherapy and coaching work in London. I provide a range of therapeutic services to individuals and organizations in Dorking in Surrey, London and across the UK. This includes both individual and couples therapy and personal and developmental coaching. In addition to face to face sessions, I also work by SKYPE or telephone.
