Hello! my name is Alex, I'm a fully trained and Professional Counsellor based in Slough, Berkshire - welcome to www.alexlamb.org. I am a member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP). That's what MBACP after my name represents and means that my qualifications have been checked and verified by that professional body. It also means that I adhere to their ethics and standards.

I have 15 years of working as part of 3CCS but I must add, to avoid confusion, that I have also worked wholly individually under the name Objective Reach Counselling Services (which is how I am listed on the BACP Find a Therapist Directory) over the same period. Whichever way my clients may find me, I offer them the same: I am a friendly, diverse, capable counsellor and psychotherapist and I spend a very significant proportion of my time continuously keeping myself up to date with knowledge and professional developments in my field.

I am a registered UKCP psychotherapist with my own practice based in Dorking, Surrey. I also undertake both psychotherapy and coaching work in London. I provide a range of therapeutic services to individuals and organizations in Dorking in Surrey, London and across the UK. This includes both individual and couples therapy and personal and developmental coaching. In addition to face to face sessions, I also work by SKYPE or telephone.

As a qualified accredited counsellor and psychotherapist I have a number of years’ experience in private, corporate health, schools, GP surgeries, and the volunteer sector, and offering psychological support to clients with Asperger’s Syndrome and their families.
