We are a small animal practice in Macclesfield, first established in 1963. We are passionate about animal care and our skilled team of veterinary surgeons and nurses are dedicated to providing the highest quality care for your animals.

The practice was started by a Mr Wagstaff in the early years of the century, based in Church Street West, opposite Hadfields the chemist. During 1928, Wagstaff fell ill and employed Alan Wright as a locum, with Alan taking over the practice when his boss sadly died shortly afterwards.

Simon Pollard Equine is a mobile veterinary service which is a limited service provider of lameness investigation, diagnosis and treatment along with poor performance and prior to purchase examinations in a location and at a time that is convenient for you. I serve Cheshire, Staffordshire, Greater Manchester, Lancashire, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire and surrounding areas.

Greenbank has been in Gatley, South Manchester for more than 20 years and we have recently moved to a much larger custom refitted premises only a few doors down. We moved into Brook House, 2-4 Northenden Road on 5th February 2018.

We are pleased to offer a full range of equine veterinary services, from routine vaccinations to specialised surgery. Our experienced ambulatory vets travel throughout Cheshire and the surrounding areas on a daily basis to visit and examine horses at home. For more complex conditions, horses may be brought to our purpose built Hospital for further diagnostic and treatment.
