For just over a Century we have been established as a family run firm of general builders and traditional restoration experts for some of Devon’s finest old & new houses. We are based in the well known village of Moretonhampstead, right on the north tip of Dartmoor National Park. Whilst we specialize in the restoration of listed and older buildings, we also undertake any type of building job ranging from small repairs to new build domestic and commercial structures.

StoneWood offers a quality affordable building service throughout Devon and the South-West region. We are able to undertake all building projects and offer a full service from design through to building, renovations and extensions.

I am a Bricklayer and Plumber. I have an NVQ 3 in trowel occupations which is the highest qualification for bricklayers and I have been in the building industry for over 15 years. I have now passed a technical certificate in plumbing and heating and in October 2012 an NVQ 2 in plumbing and heating.
