I have practised as a therapist for fifteen years. After a career in both industry and higher education I trained as a psychotherapist. I have been involved in the work of five local counselling services as well as being in private practice. I have worked with a diverse client base; individuals or couples of all ethnic origins and sexuality and all adult ages.

Our purpose is to help organisations maximise the potential of their people. This means spending time with our clients to understand what skills, behaviours and values are expected from their colleagues, both existing and new.

There are always times when we all need a bit of help. I believe that an actual strength lies in asking for it. I provide confidential psychotherapeutic treatments tailored to suit each individual.

My name is Amy Louise Gould. I am an experienced therapist and offer individual therapy for children, adolescents and adults. I also work with parents of children of all ages individually or together as a family and offer consultation or direct work with children in residential care. I have 2 children of my own and understand only too well the rewards and challenges of being a parent!

I am a qualified psychotherapist working with individuals and couples for therapy and counselling. I work with a range of issues including: anxiety, depression, panic attacks, attachment & relationship difficulties, couples counselling, bereavement, loss & grief, loneliness, overworking, ocd symptoms, lack of confidence, stress, trauma & abuse, shame based difficulties, eating and body based difficulties amongst many others.

I'm a qualified Person-Centred Counsellor. I work from home in the West Heath area of Congleton and I offer long or short-term individual face-to-face therapy. My aim is to offer you a place to breathe - a safe, discrete, quiet and confidential place which will allow you to explore your thoughts and feelings and work towards a feeling of wholeness.

Acknowledging that you need help or support doesn’t mean you are weak, self-indulgent or crazy. Considering the ever growing demands of the modern world, where many people constantly juggle family and work commitments often without the benefit of traditional support networks of previous generations, counselling could be seen as a necessity rather than a luxury.
