Hello! my name is Alex, I'm a fully trained and Professional Counsellor based in Slough, Berkshire - welcome to www.alexlamb.org. I am a member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP). That's what MBACP after my name represents and means that my qualifications have been checked and verified by that professional body. It also means that I adhere to their ethics and standards.

Staff consists of a Registered Psychotherapist (Inactive) with a wide range of expertise in various fields. Tranquility Therapy and Counselling offers individual counselling, couple counselling, and family therapy. The office is located in beautiful Old Town Kemptville is fully equipped to provide a quality therapeutic service to adolescents, adults, couples and families.

Sophie’s interest in Sport & Exercise psychology began at an early age. This led to her graduating with First Class Honours majoring in Psychology at the University of East London; in the heart of the Olympic borough. Following this, Sophie went on to complete her Masters in Sport and Exercise Psychology at the University of Chichester.

We are all qualified psychotherapists/counsellors with a wide range of professional backgrounds: social work, probation, family court welfare, psychiatry, child, adolescent and family consultation, adult mental health, services for eating disorders and other addictions.

As a qualified accredited counsellor and psychotherapist I have a number of years’ experience in private, corporate health, schools, GP surgeries, and the volunteer sector, and offering psychological support to clients with Asperger’s Syndrome and their families.
