My background is in banking, teaching and network marketing. There were good times but mainly a lot of stress. A few years ago I took time out to build my own home in Fulbrook on the edge of the beautiful Cotswolds. I am lucky to be able to enjoy the house of my dreams with my family, a crazy parrot, with a very dirty laugh, and our newest addition a gorgeous chocolate lab.

I have a long history with many types of yoga but the practice that set me on my current path is Ashtanga. This has been my sole practice for a number of years and a daily one that I deeply love.

Nikki has been teaching yoga and mindfulness for over 26 years. She originally qualified with the British Wheel of Yoga in 1998 and founded Yoga Focus shortly after. She has continued to train extensively in Britain and India, which includes traditional disciplines such as the Bihar School of Yoga, Sivananda Yoga, Hatha Tantric Yoga, Iyengar Yoga, and Viniyoga.

I have been studying and teaching Hatha yoga since 1989. Over the years, I have studied with a variety of teachers, allowing me to adapt my knowledge to the needs of many different students.
