Life can throw all sorts of obstacles at us. Sometimes we simply need to talk to someone who is prepared to listen without judgement; who does not 'give advice' but merely holds the space for personal reflection, growth and development. It takes courage to take these first steps.

I have many years experience as a psychotherapist and counsellor, and in 2001 moved my practice from Berkshire to West Sussex. My experience includes short-term work focused on a specific current issue, more in-depth and wide-ranging medium-term work, and longer-term work arising from complex multiple early traumas or severely disrupted early attachment relationships.

I am an Integrative Counsellor and Transpersonal Psychotherapist in private practice near Petersfield in North Hampshire. I work 1-2-1, long-term, with compassion and mindfulness focused therapy. While the details of peoples’ lives, and their problems, are many and varied, two common factors are shame and high levels of self-criticism. Healing the split between personality and soul is the aim of the game.

We help adults, teenagers and children to deal with their difficulties, understand their emotions and behaviour — and regain control of their everyday lives. We provide effective therapies such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), EMDR, Mindfulness, Psychotherapy and Counselling.
